iTunes on new macbook won't recognize iPhone

Question also posted on Macbook forum.

The new MacBook's do not have USB - thus I am unable to plug phone in and associate iTunes with my phone on this new computer.

How do I get the phone to be recognized in iTunes only using wireless connection?

iTunes 12-OTHER, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
