The force touchpad frequently stops working. It moves the cursor, but won't click.

The temporary work-around is to press the 'off' button, then, when it goes black, click it back on again.

I've had a similar issue on my MacBook Pro that I just picked up a week ago. But mine freezes completely, clock and all. I can't move the mouse, the fan goes on full. I was only doing a simple operation too. The only fix is to hard shutdown, which I hate doing. I'm going to seclude an extensive test at the Apple store. I wonder if this is a new issue OR known issue?
