And, while I tried to upgrade it through App store, I was asked to give details of my Apple ID, and since, I didn't used my apple ID for purchasing any product from app store, it asked me to fill up the review form; and while entering the necessary payment details and billing address, its getting hung up. I am getting the prompt, your payment method is declined and I am unable to go to the next page! And I am trying to upgrade it to the new OS yosemite.

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
