Does any one have a promo code for iPhoto books

I have a large photo book and it gets expensive. I have seen 20% off promo codes but none of them or current or work.

Any one have a current working code?

I reply to myself as it appears this thread has a bad case of Phantom Post Syndrome...

There hasn't been one for years.

👿 I wonder why, then, there remains the field for entry of a code in the process, and more importantly, why there is a (fairly) recent Support article on the subject > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202899

iPhoto for iOS: Using a Coupon Code

You can use a coupon code when you order books or prints with iPhoto for iOS.

If you have a coupon code to use with iPhoto for iOS, you can enter it from the Checkout screen:

  1. When you're ready to purchase your book or prints, tap the price to go to the Checkout screen.
  2. Select a shipping address for your order.
  3. Double-tap the Order Total in the Checkout screen.
  4. Enter your coupon code and tap OK.
  5. Tap Place Order to complete your order.

A: There hasn't been a promo code for iPhoto for years.

B: The article you refer to references an entirely different (though similarly named) app for iOS. It's also worth noting that iPhoto for iOS is no longer developed either.

[A] I will certainly take your word for it!! 😉 That leaves the emphasized Question...

[B] that also may well be, but we actually have not the data from the OP to figure out to which they refer.

My real point in all of this was merely "implied" with my Google link that is chock full o' results for "codes" for the asking - and my explicit "Any code that has been "redeemed" will never work!" in the latest post - there cannot be anything BUT redeemed codes floating around the InterWeb - since there are NO NEW CODES 😎

I totally understand the reason that there are "no more codes - for years". The marketing strategy of discounting products and services is generally reserved for "New" stuff that needs consumers - OR - for rewarding folks for "product loyalty" - neither of which likely applies today for AppleStuff - with the exception of AppleMusic free trial period I guess.

Indeed, " lex parsimoniae " applies. I do realize that we are not Apple, and further that Apple often does not pay attention to detail, especially when they 'phase out' things - leaving we here with trying to clear up the confusion caused. If I had the inclination, I would do the due diligence to provide neat-and-tidy Feedback on the issue, but alas, I do not.

Nice conversing with you - refreshing to have a "philosophical" discourse on occasion.

Take good care.
