'Apple Music' has a free three month trial which will automatically charge you after the three months if you don't cancel the renewal (you can't cancel the trial). If you think you are not going to to on with it be careful; and items in your current iTunes Library which get up to the Apple Music online library can only be re-downloaded in DRM'd versions which won't play when you stop the subscription so don't delete or lose your originals.

Thank you Roger,
Does this mean that the original itunes is being finished with? Will paid by subscription Apple Music replace it in total? I am looking at how to copy all my music, 90% big classical works, to a remote drive and to Nightingale or similar just in case itunes is becoming a paid subscription programme, or is it?
What is DRM'd?
Thank you again for the information.
Apple rarely announces its long-term plans. However, right now even with the new Music feature there is still a need for an iTunes-type application though clearly iTunes has been developed more and more into a marketing tool rather than a pure media player.

Thank You Limnos,
Your answer was very helpful.
