iTunes keeps showing Cloud music when option is deselected

I have unchecked the option for "iCloud Music Library". Initially the iCloud songs disappeared and only showed the locally stored music. But after about 10-15 seconds, all of the iCloud songs reappear. Rechecking the option and unchecking will sometimes clear the list of iCloud songs, but they always return. Anyone else?

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
