Where are tones/ringtones in 12.2?
I am on the desktop (iMac) app in version 12.2, and I cannot locate the section for Tones. Am I missing something?
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), iTunes Store 12.2

You mean the Tones section of your iTunes library ? The Tones icon looks like a bell, if it's not showing in the icons at the top left of the screen then try clicking the icon to their right (the three dots) and see if it shows there (you can use the Edit button at the bottom of that to select which icons always show) - does it show there ?
I can see the tones in my library - but I can't see where to purchase tones in the iTunes Store. Sorry, I didn't elaborate.
It can only be done on iOS devices, not on a computer's iTunes.
On my iPad (iOS 8.4) I have a Store button at the top right of Settings > Sounds ; on my iPad (iOS 7.1.2) I have a Store button top right of Settings > Sounds > Ringtone. You can then copy them to your Mac's iTunes library (they are one-time only downloads from the store) by connecting the device and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
Thank you very much - that clarifies everything!
