What program should I use for drum tracks for Logic Pro X? Logic or something else?

I've been recording with Logic Pro X and I wanna lay down some drumming. I'm willing to put in the time to learn how to use a program. I figure my options are:

1 - Using drummer, converting it to a MIDI signal, and adjusting that way

2 - Just doing MIDI the entire way by myself
