Touchpad and enter-key not working during Transfer Assistant

Hi there everyone

Today I received my brand new Macbook Pro 13" 2015 Model. I was super excited and I couldn't wait to transfer my data from my old Macbook Pro 2009 Model.

I opened the Transfer Assistent on my old Macbook Pro and I noticed that I wasn't able to click on anything. I could move my mouse around but I was unable to click on anything. I noticed that I was able to cycle through the options using my mouse keys, but I couldn't select any of the option. My enter-key didn't respond either.

Do anyone of you know a solution to this problem? I really want to start using my new MacBook Pro efficiently
