Frozen iPod Shuffle (4th generation)

Hello.

I didn't use my iPod shuffle for a quite long period. Then, I already charge my iPod unfortunately, it won't play and when I connect it to my laptop its battery is full. In fact, I also tried to charge it using my iPad adapter and the led shows orange in color (static) although I have charged it for a few hours.

So, what should I do? And what's the problem? Help! :/
