Most likely a scam site.

There's no shortage of sites that offer to 'fix' problems you really don't have for a fee.

You can always google it and see what comes up (just don't actually go to that site)

But if they're telling you that your device has problems or is compromised, don't believe them.

Never heard if that but its sounds like a Scam leave it alone.

Go to settings to Safari delete History & cookies.

Do the following on the device:

Close off Safari from Multitasking:

Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support

Clear Safari's history and website data:

Settings/Safari/Clear History and Website Data

Reset the device:

Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Thank you for your help. I also received the phony warning message while looking at the Costco site. Your suggestion cleared the message. Resetting the device did the trick.
