Q: Safari restricted history question...
There are many websites listed in history and restricted history, of sites I've never heard of or been to (including dating, port, etc). I recently had adcash in the history which then redirected to other sites, also hidebox, justcheaters. My iphone5 is always logged me and my wife's Google accounts in safari and mail, my home Dell PC stays logged into Google as well. Also, my 3 year old's iPad, is using my Apple ID and stays logged into Google as well, and he watches YouTube cartoons constantly, but sometimes ends up at videos of people cussing with inappropriate material. Now I use YouTube Kids for him. Also my wife's iphone5s stays logged into our Google accounts. Sometimes even my daughters laptop gets signed into the Google accounts, because the passwords are saved, and she has mentioned clicking on links and ending up with **** pop ups. My home Dell PC has had malware/spyware/viruses plenty of times (I use Malwarebytes and F-Prot) but don't keep up with all the updates and scans. I'm not surprised the occasional bad website shows up in the regular Safari and Chrome history, but can malware, spyware, viruses, etc bypass restrictions, and end up in that history? Plenty of times I've searched random stuff, books, car parts, news, normal shopping, and get prompted for the password that it's a restricted website but don't appear to be bad. So if you enter the password and go to a web page that has an "adcash" type of link or advetisement, will every page it redirects you to appear in your restricted history. I know all these bad websites are paid customers of Google, can see what they use on builtwith.com
