iTunes Woes

I have two main problems with iTunes as of currently. One involves my desktop computer and the other involves my laptop, both of which run Windows 7. The problem with my desktop computer is that, although I can use iTunes 12.2, I cannot listen to the Beats 1 radio station or play video through iTunes. Is my computer just too old? My laptop, on the other hand, has the problem of not being able to update iTunes. It can download iTunes through Apple Software update, but when attempting to install iTunes, a message appears that says "'iTunes' has an invalid signature. It will not be installed." My laptop has done the same thing with previous versions. Unlike my home computer, my laptop is relatively new (only a few years old). It is rather annoying to have the problems that I have with iTunes, especially since I really like it. I just can't seem to get it to work.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version, or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues, or for compatibility with QuickTime or third party software on 64-bit systems.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
