Q: Re-uploading my pictures
I had to delete the iCloud on all my devices after advise from Apple Support - related to FaceTime.
This naturally caused that all my pictures in the Photo app have to be re-installed when you tick the box iCloud Photo Library in the preferences box for iCloud..
After ticking here, the iMac which holds all my original pictures (22,000 pictures!) will now re-upload all the pictures and the Photo app now believes this is new pictures and therefore asks extension of my iCloud storage.
I was by the program told that I only have 23 GB storage left - and I should update to 500 GB even though it is the same pictures already uploaded once.
I was however allowed to begin the up-load without up-grading (however warned I might run out of space) and is now one third through adding pictures to my storrage.
Have anybody tried the same - will Photo in due time learn it is the same pictures being uploaded again and thereby accepting not needing an up-grade.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
