My iPhone is synced and iTunes says that iCloud Music Library is On. How do I turn this off? I keep turning it off on my phone because it keeps turning itself back on! Also, all of my playlists are gone once again after I merged iCloud and my iTunes library.

Settings for Music in iOS are designed by idiots for idiots. Totally not user friendly. Milion options to keep your everything everywhere. My music is not mine at all now. They want you to connect to their imagined perfect ecosystem, but: it just does not work.
They want your money ONLY.
I turned it off on both my phone and on iTunes and I appear to be back to normal. The new streaming music is a bust for me and so was the new Photos app. I'll be reluctant to just upgrade from now on. I'm sad about it because I used to trust Apple to not screw things up with new releases.
Having same problem here. When I clicked My Music, only shows the "Loading Library..." message. I checked via iTunes, all my songs on the iPhone are gone. I cannot copy songs from iTunes. I cannot listen music offline any more. Anyone got a solution?
I couldn't get on with Apple Music and decided not to subscribe. Ever since it lapsed I keep getting a message in iTunes saying my iCloud Music Library session has expired. I have no idea how to turn it off and I am fed up with it. I am on the verge of ditching iTunes altogether. Does anyone know how to make it cease and desist?
