"Your ipod can't be found"

I was trying to sync my iPod to transfer photos, but while I was syncing a message popped up and said. " Your iPod can't be synced because your iPod can't be found"


Please give me a direct answer and not to another page unless it's actually helpful.

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reboot the computer

- Try another cable

- Try another USB port

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Try on another computer to help determine if computer or iPod problem
