Movie audio out of sync despite correct fps setting Logic Pro X

I am trying to score a movie, and the movie's underlying audio is out of sync when played on the Logic timeline.

Movie is 29.97 fps, which is what Logic fps preferences are set as. When original mp4 file played in Quicktime, audio syncs perfectly. I've also seen audio sync perfectly with the movie file on the Logic timeline on OTHER Macs. No latency problems with audio played through software instruments.
