Iphone 4S Do I need to clear cache? Searched manual, not there.

Hi, before you all send me to the manual, I already searched it, and the word "cache" is not there, and it's not addressed in the apps section.

Haven't had an Iphone long. I have a 4S and upgraded to OS 8.4. It has 16GB and I have almost nothing on it, just the apps that came with it, and I've added just the ones mentioned below.

I'm wondering if there is a way to clear the cache or if I need to, for apps I'm running. Specifically Swagbucks TV and Perk TV. They run videos.

Since the upgrade to 8.4, Perk TV isn't working for me. They're aware of it. I've already uninstalled and re-installed it, which they've asked me to do. While I wait for them to figure things out, I was wondering if I need to clear the cache, thinking that might help it run better?

Just FYI, Swagbucks TV is working perfectly.

So, is there a way to clear the cache on an I-phone from apps, or do I need to?

Hi

Go to settings Safari clear history / cookies that the ony thing you need to do.

But if you find iphone slowing down you can restore to Factory Settings .

Use same Apple ID set up over WiFi .

I restore iPhone / iPad about every 2 months haven't use PC for 2 years

Do it all over WiFi .

Hi,

Thanks. I've never used Safari, but will do this so I learn now. I don't understand what you are referring to about how to reset to factory settings, but I downloaded the user manual, so I will check it. This is my first Iphone and I haven't had it long.
