Macbook Pro 2011 Hardware test fail?

Hi,

I have an issue with my Mac and, therefore, want to run the hardware test. However, it simply isn't starting. I have tried both Holding D then booting up the system and holding Option + D and still it fails to start.

What happens, is I get a white screen whilst holding either D/Option + D and after a minute of so, the Apple logo and progress bar appears. Anyone got any ideas?
