Just updated my iPad 3 to iOS 8.4 and the new Music app is no longer showing my sync'd iTunes song library

I have tried to reset and hard reset my iPad 3 to no available.

I, also, tried re-syncing my iPad to my iMac running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard and iTunes 11.4.

It did the sync and my iPad shows that there are 684 songs on my iPad 3, but the new Music is not showing any of these songs in the My Music or Playlists categories in the new Music app.

Those categories are blank, empty white spaces.

I have another music app installed and it sees all of the songs on my iPad with no issues.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank God that I have another functioning music app that has access to the music I sync from my iTunes library.

I can use this music app for the time being.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 27in 3.06 GHz CPU, 1TB, 16 GB RAM

I believe you have to enable Apple Music for the content on your device to appear. Silly, huh? 😐
