Jul 3, 2015 5:15 PM in response to techo babelby Uniway,From the official website I got these words, hope it can help:
Create a custom station from a song, album, or artist
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Or just ask Siri to "Start a station from…” and then say the name of a song, album, or artist. On your Mac or PC:
- Select any song or album. Click the More Options icon
next to it. - Click New Station from Song, New Station from Album, or New Station from Artist.
Fine-tune your stations
While you listen to Apple Music Radio, tell us what you want to hear more of. Tap or click the heart icon or the star icon when you hear a song you love.
If you're a member of Apple Music, tap the heart icon to influence songs we suggest in the For You tab.
When you listen to an on-demand station that you created and hear a song you like, you can tap the star to tell us if you want to hear more songs like it.
- Select any song or album. Click the More Options icon

Jul 30, 2016 1:45 AM in response to Uniwayby eyenstein99,★HelpfulUniway, that's not the issue. We want to know why Apple decided to toss out the radio stations that we've all spent months collecting and curating! They are all gone. What's even more frustrating is that a couple of them hang out in the "recently played" section but you can no longer edit them as before by adding an artist or song manually.
It's stupid.

Jul 4, 2015 2:49 PM in response to eyenstein99by tins4macs,I agree. I have spent ages setting up stations that I like. iTunes Radio was fantastic, simply the best way to listen and discover, and now it's gone. Thanks, Apple. Can I go back to the old version please? Apple Music is NOT for me, and I will stop paying.

Jul 8, 2015 10:35 PM in response to tins4macsby tins4macs,Further. I have not upgraded my iPhone or iPad to 8.4, and my stations are all still there, and work fine. What is it with Apple and the cloud? MobileMe was a disaster, Maps was ridiculous (better now), and now this. It's hard tom understand the logic here; if I wanted Beats, I would have paid for it. One of Apple's strengths has always been taking something that's already there and doing it right. Not this time Apple Music is a mess. It looked like a mess when they presented it at WWDC, and it's worse 'in the flesh'.
I know that,as an over 60, I am probably not in Apple's core demographic, but I should be. I am a serial early adopter, I have EVERY mac I have ever bought, starting with a Cube, and they all still run and play a part in my life. I have had 5 iPhones, the latest is a 6 Plus. But, I am NOT upgrading my IOS, I am NOT getting a sub to Apple Music and I am turning off iTunes Match.

Jul 10, 2015 8:33 AM in response to tins4macsby denver_rhall,I agree as well. I was not aware they were gonna delete all of my custom radio stations. Apple should have displayed a warning or something. Now I have to try to find the stations AGAIN. AND I'm limited to the number that will appear since they only appear in the "Recently Played" section. This *****!!!

Jul 10, 2015 9:35 PM in response to denver_rhallby tins4macs,I fixed it (temporarily at least) by reverting to iTunes 12.1. Get it from here: https://secure-appldnld.apple.com/itunes12/031-19002.20150409.9C24E/iTunes12.1.2 .dmg
Then, follow the instructions here: http://www.macworld.com/article/2839797/unhappy-with-itunes-12-heres-how-to-reve rt-to-itunes-11.html
Do it exactly as described, only substituting 12.1 for 11. Log in with your Apple ID and it's all back as it was. Doesn't take long, and works fine. I had to do the bit about removing iTunes.library.itl, but iTunes created a new one for me.
I expect that Apple will take steps to stop us using it this way, and when they do I will stop paying for iTunes Match. There is no way I will pay a subscription for what is essentially a rebadged Beats. I'll get Spotify before I do that.
Bad move, Apple. I guess you didn't learn from the MobileMe and Maps debacles.

Jul 14, 2015 6:38 PM in response to techo babelby nullmeta,So whilst searching because I and the same issue, I actually had to click View in the menu bar, and "show only offline music" was selected. I selected the show music from both sources online and offline, and it said my session had expired and i had to log into iTunes again with my iCloud ID, after that all my radio stations came back, etc... Sorry i can't remember the exact buttons I clicked because after logging back in with my iCloud ID all the buttons in the menu bar changed and I couldn't find the button I selected, however, it was set to view only offline music.

Jul 15, 2015 7:45 PM in response to tins4macsby tins4macs,Something else. If you choose to do this, remember to go to Settings/App Store and uncheck the auto update box or you'll have to do it all over.

Jul 16, 2015 4:42 AM in response to tins4macsby JohnNY123,Until I upgraded to iTunes 12.2.1.16 on my Mac the other day, my old custom created radio stations were listed in the iTunes Radio Recently Played section in the Radio tab of iTunes. I don't even see a Recently Played section anymore, and for sure my custom radio stations seem to be gone. Total bummer....
-
Jul 16, 2015 4:58 AM in response to JohnNY123by JohnNY123,Ahhhhh. OK. Closing iTunes and re-opening it added the Recently Played stations back to the top of iTunes and I now see my old stuff again. So it's clear the software still has plenty of bugs that we'll have to struggle through.....Also, still no way to delete a custom radio station like there was before. I have junk stations of my own that I want to get rid of and no way to do it.

Jul 22, 2015 6:06 PM in response to eyenstein99by x01e,Couldn't agree more! Stupid! And the remote app is now useless also. I have outdoor speakers connected to a stereo system, and using the remote app on my iPhone or iPad I could sit outside and with the remote app (remote app controls iTunes on my PC so that my PC streams the music to my stereo via AirPlay) I could select my custom radio stations that I spend months creating. Now, with the remote app can't even select any custom radio stations at all... useless now.

Jul 23, 2015 3:11 PM in response to techo babelby TommyWillB,I got it. I had to go to the Account menu and choose Authorize.
Then i quit, and restarted iTunes.
Then the Recent list showed back up!
-
Jul 23, 2015 4:48 PM in response to TommyWillBby tins4macs,Not the point. I have around 40 custom stations and it's them I want. You can't edit 'recent' stations, and that's all they are; recent.
Switching back to 12.1 has worked for me. I hate it because I am a serial early upgrade.

Aug 2, 2015 9:17 PM in response to techo babelby laxerboi,I have been a band wagon apple fan since the first iPhone but this is super frustrating. I loved apple radio because I do not like main stream music and they have the most comprehensive collection. Spotify does not have the obscure artists that I love and Pandora can only come up with so many songs to match my artist of choice until it just keeps playing the same ones over and over. I was able to build some great stations that I love. But now the custom station selection menu is gone and only available on my apple tv. The list of stations are now generic main stream genre stations, which totally defeats the purpose of why I switched from spotify and pandora in the first place... I usually look forward to updates so this came as a huge let down.
