force click in preview

The force click for using the "look up"-function is not supported anymore in preview after I updated to OS X 10.10.4. When I change the function to 3 finger click, it works. Is there a way to reactivate it?

I've noticed the same thing. I've been in touch with two Senior Apple Care advisors neither of whom were able to say for sure whether Preview officially supported force clicking (despite my experience with it working in Preview in the past).

I've done a pile of troubleshooting with this Apple Care advisor including a totally fresh reinstallation of the OS and the "problem" persists... if in fact there is a problem since even AppleCare employees seem unsure about the particulars of the feature (and, worse, seem unwilling to do the legwork to figure it out...).

So you're not alone! No force-clicking words (or anything else!) in Preview for me either.
