Should apple tv and airplay work with my computer? all information provided inside.

Here is my model information… I have read my computer should be compatible but it seems to not be working out the way.

MacBook Pro

Hi rjames1205,

I see that you have some questions about using AirPlay on your computer. While it is not clear whether you are trying to use AirPlay Mirroring or just AirPlay from iTunes, I have a couple of articles with information on these features, and they also have steps for troubleshooting this behavior at the bottom of the pages:
