Music App Giving Issues When Trying To Play Music Using Shuffle

Hey. I'm having trouble keeping the standard iPhone music app from turning off of shuffle when I press the next song button on my 2013 Kia Sorento. This only happens when I press the next song button on the steering wheel and seek button on the dashboard where the touchscreen is. I didn't know if I were the only one having issues with this but I haven't been able to see anyone else post this kind of question. Please let me know if you can help or have any tips. Thanks.
