Q: how do I add a photo in my iCloud Photo library to an album?

There are photos in my iCloud Photo Library that didn't end up in the album in which they belonged. How do I move them into the album where they should be?

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

    If you want to add photos to an album, reveal the sidebar with the command ⌥⌘S   (option-command-S)

     

    Then select the photos you want to add to the album and drag them to the album in the sidebar.
