Why does Siri not work on my iPad?

So this morning I got an update on my iPad for iOS 8.4. Siri does work on the iPad as it is shown in evidence on a site. The evidence shows that you are able to access it in settings, general, Siri. However, it is not there. I have tried plugging my iPad in with a charger and it is not there... I have tried holding down my home button and it is not there. Please give me details on how to use Siri. Please do not tell me to look in the settings because it is not there...

Siri requires an iPad 3 or later, or an iPad Mini. You have not told us what type of iPad you have.

About Siri - Apple Support

Siri also requires an internet connection.

Siri may also not be available in certain regions.

I told you, I have an iPad. It's just an iPad. Well anyway I can't get it then. Stuff Siri. How sad that they can't you have it for previous versions. a iPod touch even has its version of a Siri :/

Siri is available for previous versions of iPad ... up to a point.

The iPad 3, which supports Siri, was released in 2012. Since then the iPad 4, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2 have also been released (in subsequent generations).
