I do not know what you mean by board. The screen on the 4G and later are one bonded unit unless earlier ones when the outer scree, digitizer and LCD/backlight were separate. For how to replace screen see:
It is at the top where the front facing camera is.
I still do not know what yo are talking about. Can you post an image?
Or provide a link to a image and describe where on the image it is
The best I can tell you is to watch a screen replacement video to see what it looks like. But in all the videos I've watched, they take it out & put it back. There is a hole for a front facing camera.
Again what are you talking about?
Identify it on an image here:

Yes
Just follow the iFixit links and replace everything. I'm guessing by "board" you are referring to the white surrounding frame of the touch screen. This all comes with your iFixit kit. Easy job... but requires an hour of patience and very small fingers to reach in a re-connect the tiny "bus tape" connection.
Side note... I wish the iFixit kit included the tiny back camera glass. Mine is cracked and all photos are almost garbage these days.
That is what professional and authorised repairers are for.

I looked at all the pictures more than once & still don't see it.
Then it would seem that the piece comes with another component. Can you take and post a photo of the piece in context with the iPod?
Looking at step 7 of

that piece comes with the screen
Thank you for your time, helped a lot.
