I just bought a new iMac and noticed it doesn't DVD drive anymore.

So I need to buy a DVD drive to my iMac, but I don't know anything about it.

If someone knows about which company is good and model, could you let me know it?

Right now I'm thinking to get this one

BUFFALO 8x USB 2.0 Portable DVD Writer - DVSM-PC58U2VB

but I can not find out this works for my iMac (OS X10.10.4)...

Well, it took just seconds to find the specs here:

It is only USB 2, so it will be slow. And, it appears it has software which it needs, so I would not know if that is compatible with OS X.

I bought one from this supplier:

Quiet, fast, and will read most anything.

It may work fine, but, with a fast new iMac, I would go for one that has USB 3.
