Trying to use the Lightning SD card camera reader. It won't red my SDHC card from my video camera or the micro card from my phone. Any suggestions?
Have you tried to read those cards using a USB card reader or the one on your Mac. You didn't provide any info re. the Mac model/year/OS version. Difficult to help without salient details.
oop... I'm using it with my ipad 4th generation to transfer photos and videos on to it. I was able to import the photos from my SD card that was in my camera. But when I insert the card from my video camera or my micro card from my phone it tells me there are no photos. I'm sorry for the lack of technical terminology.
If I understand correctly, you want to import photos TO your iPad? Here is some info on how to import photos to an iPad:

Im using the lightning SD Card reader. It let me import photos from the Sd card from my camera. When I tried to import the videos on the SD card from my camcorder it said not 'photos found'. Same when I tried to import the photos on my micro card from my android cell.

And, are you trying to import TO the iPad? Or a computer?
Try inserting the SD card into a card reader on a desktop or laptop computer. If the files can be read on another device, then most likely the lightning to SD card reader may need to be replaced. Also, did you buy an official Apple reader or is it made by a third party?

Yes, I know - just wanted to make sure he was trying to import them to the iPad. I've found those adapters somewhat unreliable and would try to use any other method available instead of that.
