My iTunes Store download spasm to search access to it.

I have a problem that worries me since 2 months now. Here's what it is:

I'm on the album which I want to download the song I want, everything is perfectly fine yet. But when I click on the price icon, or the purchase button in another way, suddenly it keeps flashing "Accessing iTunes Store..." without any result and preventing me to proceed to the next step, which is normally the account verification window.

My Internet connection is working correctly, no unusual problem there, and I have the latest version of iTunes. It does that with everything purchasable. So why is this happening? Is there a way to fix this?
