I have downloaded some songs onto my Macbook Pro, but the rest don't want to download.

I just recently got my Macbook Pro, and I have clicked all the little iCloud icons to download my songs, but only some have downloaded. The rest have turned gray like their waiting to download but none are and in the "downloading list" that appears in the corner there is nothing. Any suggestions? Sorry if its horribly explained.
