System requirements for the most recent EFI update are 10.8.5 and 10.9.5. I have both installed on my 2010 Mac Pro, but I also have two Snow Leopard drives. Is there any risk to the Snow Leopard systems in applying the EFI update?

If the system requirements are for 10.8.5 and 10.9.5, then trying to use it with Snow Leopard could potentially ruin the OS. Stick with the stated system requirements would be my advice.
This concerns me greatly, because I also have a Yosemite drive attached to this computer, running 10.10.2. I recall reading somewhere that the Yosmite update includes the EFI update. If the 10.10.4 update includes and automatically applies the EFI update, what happens to my Snow Leopard systems? I'm not touching it until I know what I'm letting myself in for. I'm hoping someone here knows for certain.
