Is it possible to turn off artwork sync?

I did the iOS update and free trial of Apple Music today, and it looks like every time I sync now, it wants to sync waaaayyy too many GB worth of album artwork - almost to the point where it would be taking about half of my 64 GB with "other." How can I turn this off? Not worth the space.
