After upgrading to 12.2, my book listing by date is messed up

I have my books in iBooks, and before the last iTunes upgrade I could add a book to iBooks, and it is sorted by date so the book shows up in the upper left.

I used to be able to plug in my iPad, select Books to sync and sort by date and the new books would be in the upper left and I could easily select the new books to sync.

With 12.2, iTunes will not show the list in the same order as iBooks. I now need to sort by title and find the new book by title in order to sort them.

Any way to fix or do I need to wait for Apple to fix this?
