Forced to use iCloud Drive for saving Keynote files???

I used to be able to save and sync Keynote and pages files to my free 5GB icloud. However, it seems Apple has taken this feature away and only allows in if you buy iCloud Drive. Is this correct? Or am I missing something?

Basically, I would like to be able to save and edit and play Keynote files in iCloud.

My Keynote is 6.5 I think. (Latest as of July '15)

I'm on Yosemite.

Thanks for any tips on this.

HI there,

iCloud drive is free to use, and any files saved there will only use up your 5gb of free storage. You can pay a monthly fee to upgrade your storage space to more than 5gb.

Any documents created in iWork are by default saved to iCloud, and are therefore available from all your devices, but enabling iCloud Drive simply allows you to view and edit everything that's stored in your iCloud in one place.
