After the latest update iOS 8.4 my iPhone 6 battery drain like never before from 100% to 10% in just one hour even if the data plan is off i feel this is the worst to happen with me.
I have been using apple form the start (Apple 2G to Apple 6)

4. Disable auto brightness: Navigate to settings/ display and brightness/ auto-brightness. Turn this option off.

I noticed this too when I updated to 8.4, the battery drain is huuuuge.
I've got a bigger problem with it also breaking app store updates so I'm trying to fix that first.
Hope someone comes up with a fix for the battery issue too because that was my next urgent to do.
Don't even want 'Music'. Is this worst Apple iOS ever?

I did wonder though if my broken updates problem would magically disappear if I gave in and subscribed to Music and gave Apple even more money.
Suffering horrible battery drain. 35% gone in 3.5 hours of just standard use. iPhone 6 Plus.
Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
