iPod Touch 5th Gen: Set Bluetooth Device Porperties?

Since purchasing a new vehicle with factory installed Bluetooth I am constantly needing to "tell" the Subaru Outback 2015 to "see" the iPod as only a music device and not a phone. With %100 of my drives the vehicle is trying to sync contacts, and make calls over the iPod. I have "dual paired" Bluetooth on previous cars without this constant resetting, and not had issues. The other device is a simple non-smart LG cell phone (with BT).

Is there a method for setting the iPod to only react to a Bluetooth connection as a music device? After all... it's never been a phone.

I have already searched and asked at Subaru forums, and the Subaru dealership.. all telling me it's a iPod adjustment.

There are no such settings on the iPod.

If such a setting existed it would be on the car system.

Thank You... Been through this with Subaru, no setting available. Odd that it worked seamlessly on my previous audio system (aftermarket Parrot Mki9200). Oh well... just gotta adjust every time I drive a car.
