I have got the dreaded Red iTunes sign on the screen tried to restore the phone but get error 56
Also tried power and start button unit apple sign appears all of witch did not work

I am using my US purchased iPhone 6 in China and they say they cannot fix it while I am here. Whey does Apple not have consistent global service in their apple stores? I will not be going back to the US for 3 weeks and now I have not phone to use while I am here in China.

I am going to the Apple store tomoz, hopefully they can fix it.
If not and I get a replacement I hope they can wipe my old one as I have a lot of personal info on it that I DO NOT want others to see !!!
I went to Apple shop today and they couldn't fix this error 56 so I got a free replacement iphone 6
have you tried putting the iphone in dfu mode and connecting to itunes?
