Macbook startup stuck at 50 percent

I have an Early 2014 MacBook air, SSD running Yosemite. I rebooted my laptop with a tata photon plus in the usb port. The reboot got stuck at 50% of the progress bar and gets stuck at the same time whenever I reboot.
