Vpn reboot

SInce the latest update, whenever I try to connect to my VPN it causes my IPad 4th Gen to reboot. I've tried a few VPN providers and have uninstall and reinstalled but it still reboots. I've also reset all of the settings on my IPad but the problem still remains ! Help please ?!
