Titles of Teaching Company/Great Courses audio lectures not displayed in iOS 8.4

This is another aspect of the same problem already reported here (missing audiobook chapter titles). With these popular courses each lecture is a separate “chapter,” so without the titles it can be hard to navigate around. It’s especially a problem if you keep only a few lectures (or non-consecutive) lectures from each course on your device to save space. “Track 1” isn’t very helpful if that’s really lecture 9, for example, and the content of the lecture isn’t listed.

I’ve reported this to Apple Feedback and to the Great Courses, and hope it’s fixed in the next release. Hard to imagine it was intentional.

Does anyone here use third party apps for listening to audiobooks? There *are* some nice new features for audiobooks in iBooks – a greater range of playback speeds, variable skip-forward and back, and the way the timing listed for each chapter actually changes with playback speed.
