How do export photos from FINDER/PICTURES to Lightroom

My iMac contains photos that are accessed in FINDER ......... PICTURES

How do I export them to Lightroom 6?

(Without, if possible, including duplicates.)

Please provide a little more information such as what format the photos are in such as jpg, RAW, TIFF etc...

Finder is an application not a location. Did you import the photos into one of Apple's apps such as iPhoto, Photos or Aperture? If you did then you want to migrate them from that app and into Lightroom, Adobe would be able to help you with that. .

All the pics are jpegs with most originating in Aperture 3 and Photos. Some however were edited by "Akvis", "Tonality" and "Intensify" and a few were placed in PICTURES to keep them separate from Aperture 3.

Now that I'm concentrating on Lightroom 6 I want to move them from PICTURES into Lightroom.

I'll follow your suggestion and ask for help from Adobe.

Thanks for your comments.
