I know that my Apple Store (Irvine Spectrum Center) does not carry the iPhone 5c in 32 GB. I still have warranty so, if they choose to replace it will they replace it with a iPhone 5s or iPhone 5 (which I am doubting they have)
There are models in stock for replacements which Apple doesn’t make available for sale. If the Apple Store doesn’t have any iPhone 5c units at all and can’t get any, you’ll receive a newer device.

But, what do you mean when you say Apple can't get it
If Apple can get a 32 GB iPhone 5c from another location in the supply chain,
that is what they will replace your current iPhone with. Only the Apple store that
you will be dealing with can decide what you will get as a replacement. We -
your fellow users in this forum - have no affect on that decision nor any inside
information as to what that decision will be.
