imac 20 inch aio crashing

my iMac keep randomly crashing. starting it back up seems to be an issue as well. I've never had an iMac before, this is all so new to me. HELP!?

Yes, all iMacs are like that; your model has a door on the bottom (the newer ones have one in back). Here is a video for yours and also Apple's instructions:

It's not difficult to do - I've added RAM to all of my iMacs except the current one (which came with what I wanted).
