Unable to Add Lexmark Z35 Printer

The driver does not show up in the driver selection pull down menu, the computer was be able to detect the printer via USB but there is no correct driver for me to select. I tried to reinstall the driver sets from the Tiger DVD and it does not work, the driver still wasn't showing up in the pull down menu. I then tried to go to Lexmark's website and download the driver there but StuffIt Expander cannot open the HQX file, it gave me an error message saying the file is compressed differently.

Any hints and/or tips?

Thanks.

Since there is no edit options here, I just did a search and found out that all the non-modern drivers are not listed ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301175#lexmarkdrivers) in the pull down menu, however the note said "3. Drivers that are not denoted as Modern Drivers cannot be selected when adding an IP printer or Windows shared printer." This is neither an IP printer nor a Windows shared printer, the printer is directly connect to my MacBook's USB port.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

EDIT: Well apparently there is an edit option but I can't edit my original post for some reason.

(last instruction in both of those help Docs) Do get Info on Printer Setup Utility and make it run in Rosetta.

Thanks for the driver link - I was wrong, the hqx file is for OS X after all (but it is an old Stuffit format).

Good luck.
