I just purchased a 2015 Macbook Pro 13' with retina display and I have been trying to delete google and google chrome cast from my macbook and I have no idea how too. Can someone please show me the steps to delete it. Thank you.
Go to the Finder, then the Applications directory and drag Chrome to the trash, same for whatever else you want to delete. Then go to Finder and Empty Trash.

thank you! i also was wondering why i still have the google icon in my launchpad if it has been deleted already.
Launchpad icons are aliases, try dragging the icon to the trash, also.
I did, it still stayed. But along as it was deleted then I'm fine. Thank you so much!
