Deleting or Loggin out of iCloud w/o password.

Hello, I bought an iPad and when I went to reset the iPad it's asking me to log out of the old owners iCloud account. I don't have access to that person or their information. Is there a way I can get past this without the password? Or somehow use my own iCloud account?
