It's not working now and still covered with 1 year warranty. The thing that frustrates me is how am I supposed to get the warranty service? For my macbook, I just make a genius bar reservation. But for a trackpad, this is no option to do so.
I am at a loss to understand this question. Or is it too early in the morning?
The trackpad is part of the MacBook; you seem able to take that in for service at the Genius bar; so where is the difference. The genius bar will test and order repairs for any part of the machine that goes wrong within the warranty period.
Did you buy it with a machine or do you still have a machine that is in warranty? If so just make an appointment under the machine with warranties serial number
My bad, I was referring to magic trackpad.
Nah, I bought the magic trackpad from RadioShack, not bundled with a computer.
Take in in to an Apple store with your receipt.
