Any third party cleaning utilities?
What temperatures are being generated (in degrees)?

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.
It would be helpful if you indicated the EXACT model/year of your MBP.

I ran the test and the fan has yet to turn on, a huge relief. None of the icons I was to see showed up and the start-up was much slower. But and it is a huge but, the problem seems to have gone away!
