how to create a shortcut for move to trash

there is no shortcut combination set for deleting a file or a folder , i find the process of deleting (move to trash ) very tiring . SO, if anyone can help me creating a shortcut combination for "move to trash " it will be a great help.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Look at your Finder menus, there should be (in 10.10.3) a item titled Move to Trash in the File menu.


The shortcut is listed to the right of the menu item text: User uploaded fileUser uploaded file


User uploaded fileis the cmd button (at bottom left and right of the keyboard)

User uploaded fileis the "delete" (also known as the backspace key). It's normally located above the return key.


User uploaded file User uploaded fileUser uploaded file (Shift - cmd - delete) will empty the trash.
